Mini Max in Winter Tour?
|
 |
There
is some confusion about the Mini Max
class, and if it will be included in
the Winter Tour.
From my perspective there should be
none, as since day one my position on
this issue has not changed.
I was approached in September with a
request to include the Mini Max and
the Novice shifter classes in the 2004
FL Winter Tour. I told both of the individuals
then, and anyone who has taken the time
to contact me since, that for either
of the classes to participate ( or any
SKUSA class not currently participating
) that the process for getting the class
included is:
1. Minimum 10 class legal competitors
would have to join SKUSA, or renew their
membership, and that they would have
to stipulate the Mini Max or Formula
Novice class on their membership application/renewal.
2. Minimum 10 class legal SKUSA members
would have to pre-pay the entry fee
for all 6 race-days. That would be $60
x 6 race-days = $360.
To date I have 3 qualified entries for
the Mini Max class. I have none in the
Formula Novice class.
I hope this helps to resolve any confusion.
I will still include either of the classes,
but only if these requirements are met.
Thank you to all for your participation.
I'll look forward to seeing you "on
Course!" in Homestead.
