4-Hour Endurance Event results

This event was the first of it's kind in FL. It was used to formulate a format for running several of these types of events in FL in 2004. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the 16 Teams who took part, and made this event a huge success. Our goal was to learn how to run this type of event, and the Teams efforts, along with some help from lady luck and mother nature, gave us the opportunity to encounter just about any foreseeable situation, and therefore learn how to deal with them in the most effective way. I am sure that we now have the information we need to make these events even more enjoyable and fair, and look forward to organizing 3-4 of these events in 2004.

Senior Class ( 15-up ):

1st: Team The Canadians, EH!
This Ontario, Canada based team drove a long way to get to the event, and then drove the furthest of any Senior class team during the event to take home the win. Congratulations to Ross, Spencer and Todd MacPherson.

2nd:  Team Speedquest
Nick Weil, Ennis Bragg

3rd:  Team Buckeyes
Curtis Parker, John Walberg

Combined Class ( 12-up ):

1st :  Team Fittipaldi
Andre Martin, Pedro Jacobsen, Alex Wikell

2nd:  Team The Undertakers
John Summerton, Nicholas Silva, Frank Gyuru

3rd :  Team Potter
Craig Duerson, Keith Spicer

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our competitors. You helped make 2003 the best year ever for FL Kart Racers, and we look forward to seeing all of you "on Course!" again in 2004!

Sincerely,
Bill Wright
