OFFICIAL DATES AND VENUES
Event Weekend # 1 January 22 & 23 Moroso Motorsports
Park West Palm Beach, FL
This impressive new facility is arguably the finest in the Southeast.
Located within the multi-purpose Moroso Motorsports Park complex,
it offers full lighting for night events, FIA style curbing,
multiple configurations, and on-site retail, rental and service.
We will be using the .9 mile long course, a fast but technical
layout that produces lap times in the 1:05 range. For information
about practice and pit-spots, contact them on-line at the karting
link at www.morosomotorsportspark.com
, or phone Director of Karting Crystal Lewis at 561-799-5328.
Event Weekend # 2 February 19 & 20 Homestead Karting
Homestead-Miami Speedway
A favorite of many drivers, in the past it has been dreaded
by the mechanics, and loved by parts suppliers because of the
tires and cones that defined the semi-permanent circuit. Those
days are over. A new .7 length layout that incorporates a unique
curbing system has allowed Homestead Karting to remove the dreaded
tires and cones, producing lap times in the :49 range, and offering
even more passing opportunities. It's sure to provide some of
the best racing we've ever had at Homestead. For information
about practice and pit-spots, contact them on-line at www.homesteadkarting.net,
or phone Karting Director Tony Schroeder at 305-469-6188.
Event Weekend # 3 March 19 & 20 103rd Street Complex
Jacksonville
After a one-year layoff we're excited to return to this historic
karting facility. The North Florida Kart Club has continued
to develop the facility, adding features and equipment to improve
passing and safety. For information about practice and pit-spots,
contact them online at www.nfkc.us,
or phone NFKC President David Arvin at 904-219-8729.
