I intend to continue the very popular, cost-saving, "double-race-weekend" format.
Over the next few months you will see ads in Kart Sport and
Super Kart Illustrated magazine, and announcements from Formula
Kart Racing will be sent to many other media outlets. Included
in those ads and announcements will be a detailed listing of
the Champions and the top 5 ( including the Team, Chassis, and
Engine ) in each class of the 2004 Formula Kart Racing FL Winter
Tour, and details about the 2005 FL Winter Tour, presented by
Formula Kart Racing.
The 2004 FL Winter Tour saw records numbers of participants
in shifter and Rotax classes. Overall participation was up 26
% over the previous year, with an average of 120 entries per
race-day. With your support, the 2005 FL Winter Tour will continue
the tradition of providing great value and International prestige
to Kart Racers from all over North and South America. The 6
previous FL Winter Tours have featured truly international fields,
with racers from 7 different countries and 22 different U.S.
states. Pro class racers have been paid over $43,700 in CASH
purses, with amateur classes receiving over $46,000 in additional
prizes and awards, for a combined payout of over $90,000 in
cash and awards. Add in next years minimum $20,000 cash purse
in the Pro class, and it's guaranteed to be another record breaking
year with Formula Kart Racing.
As always, make sure you log on here at www.formulakart.com
for all the latest "FK NEWS", and official Formula
Kart Racing race results.
I look forward to some " SERIOUS FUN ", with all my
karting friends, soon.
