Hello all,

It has now been 14 weeks since the 2004 FL Winter Tour ended. Because of the delay in releasing "official final points" I have not been able to ship awards, or provide the press with information about the results or Class Champions of the 2004 FL Winter Tour.

Effective immediately Formula Kart Productions is announcing the posted results as official.

Formula Kart Productions has shipped all eligible participants their Points Championship Awards. You should receive those in the next few days.

Formula Kart Productions is issuing a press release to many of the primary motorsports web sites and magazines, with a summary of the Tour, a detailed list of the top 5 drivers in each class, including their "home" town, Team affiliation, chassis and engine make, and a list of the Tour sponsors.

Formula Kart Productions will place a full page ad in the September issue of at least one, possibly two, of the major Karting magazines with the same information.

As most of you know, the "unofficial" final points have been posted at www.formulakart.com since March 19th.

For those who are not aware, the ONLY reason for the delay in releasing "official final points" centers around an accurate list of current SKUSA members. There are not now, nor has there ever been any other issue causing this delay.

Beginning on March 25th Formula Kart Productions has made 4 written and numerous verbal requests for official results. This information must come from the SKUSA National office. My last written request to the SKUSA National office is dated April 16th . I will be happy to provide copies of all relative correspondence to any interested party. As of today, July 1, 2004, I still do not have official results from the SKUSA National office.

The 2004 edition of the FL Winter Tour was a HUGE success, with record numbers of Shifter and Rotax competitors and the largest awards payout in the Tours history. As in the past Formula Kart Productions will start releasing information in August about our plans for the 2005 FL Winter Tour. We have been working hard to make it even better, and have already secured sponsorship for a guaranteed minimum $20,000 cash purse for the Pro Shifter class. I anticipate that all of our previous awards partners will be back, and that the 2005 FL Winter Tour, presented by Formula Kart Racing, will continue the long tradition of providing great value, and "SERIOUS FUN !" to our participants.
