Hello all,

On Monday, March 8th, I was made aware that the management at Ocala Gran Prix released some announcements concerning the SKUSA rounds scheduled for March 13 & 14.

It is unfortunate that I was not involved in the discussions that led up to those announcements. I was as surprised by those announcements as most of you. In fact, many of you are probably not,  even now,  aware of the announcements.

I'd like to emphasize that I believe the management of  Ocala Gran Prix was acting in good faith.  I also would like to emphasize that IF the changes had been announced with the "normal" " 30 day window " period, I would have supported them completely. However, the announcements from the management of Ocala Gran Prix would involve significant changes to the event, and the announcements were made just 5 days prior to the event.

It is my intent to run the Ocala Rounds in the "normal" configuration, as discussed with many of you prior to Mondays announcements.  This would be the "no-chicane, with hairpins" configuration, in the counterclockwise direction. That is the configuration I intend to run for both race-days of the event-weekend. This is the configuration that I was told we would be using, and it is the configuration that many of you were told we would be using. It is also my understanding that the management at Ocala Gran Prix is going to allow practice on Wednesday, for those Teams and Individuals who have already arrived, or are arriving, with the intent of practicing.
